Fighting uphill battles requires that you take the high ground to fend off the attacks of others.

Difficult tasks are better resolved in a position that improves your view of what life throws at you.

You improve your view with positive actions generated from transformational thinking.

The battles of life are not always fought in arenas of your choosing.

Gain the upper hand  by learning to fight in any arena.

The business person on the up and up will find success.

Victory comes to those who engage in the fight and stop beating themselves up for past failures.

I render emergency dental care in Kansas City.

Do you beat yourself up after making unwise decisions, missing the mark that leads to success?

No one can foretell all that comes at you in any given day.

We are blind sided on occasion by the problems that life brings.

There is a parallel course of good and evil in our lives marked by a traversing, zigzag pattern of ups and downs.

On any given day you leave home with the best intentions,  upbeat as any being on the planet could possibly be.

A patrolman doing what law enforcement has trained him to do gives you a speeding ticket, leaving you feeling downtrodden and upset.

Beating yourself up won’t make the situation any better.

Shake it off, take a deep breath and restart your day.

You can allow the negative event to transform your day into one of sheer frustration or move on and discover the good that’s in store.

Arriving at work appearing like the bull in the china shop only creates more problems for the bull.

Most of us are pure emotions, like fragile china. The bull is bound to break the china if operating under the influence of the negative event.

The movie “Gladiator” is a 2000 historical epic film directed by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe, Joaquin Pheonix, Connie Nielson, Ralf Moeller, Oliver Reed, Djimon Hounsou, Derek Jacobi, John Sharpnel, and Richard Harris.

Russell Crowe portrays the loyal Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed when the Emperor’s ambitious son, Commodus, murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery, Maximus rises through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena to avenge the murder of his family and his Emperor.

The film was nominated for and won multiple awards, particularly five Academy Awards in the 73rd Academy Awards including Best Picture.

Maximus fought an uphill battle as the picture found him stripped of family, rank, prestige, and honor.

His life became a living hell as he battled to reclaim his freedom and honor.

The intelligent general was blind sided by the counter intentions of another man’s scheme.

Our lives become blind sided by sickness, loss of job, potential financial ruin, marital and familial discord.

These are all negative events defeated by our awareness of a world where good and evil both exist.

Stop beating yourself up when you fail to achieve a goal.

Engage in the attainment of your goals with transformational thinking.

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

With awareness of negative events fight by transforming them into positive actions each and every day.

You learn to fight in the different arenas of life with positive actions despite your circumstances.

You win fighting uphill battles of life by taking the high ground with daily positive actions.
