WE CARE                                       HIGH RISK DENTAL PATIENTS

High risk dental patients.

Take the time to understand the needs of high risk dental patients.

Teeth can show tremendous wear from the stress and strain of night grinding called bruxism.

Care must be taken in the restoration of teeth badly worn down that place dental patients at high risk.

Some of a dentist most challenging cases for restoration come after the wear and tear of tooth grinding related

to stress and anxiety.

Dental treatment resulting from this kind of damage can be veer difficult to treat.

Patients will hear fees to repair the damage to teeth from stress and anxiety above and beyond what is considered normal and routine.

More time will be required in the planning of treatment for these cases.

Full mouth rehabilitation is the treatment of choice when every tooth is to be prepared for porcelain crowns,

Some dentist find it easier to prepare the teeth in one jaw at a time to facilitate equilibrium in restoration of the patient’s case.

High risk dental patients can fracture porcelain crowns in the same way they grind away tooth structure during bruxism in their sleep.

Badly worn teeth reduced in size and strength can be restored with porcelain crowns.

To evaluate the patient’s bite relationship, also look at the size of the Masseter muscles.

Very pronounced and developed jaw muscles cause elevated jaw forces measured in pounds per square inch.

Patients with a square jaw deliver very high biting forces.

To help protect the chewing surfaces of restored teeth a bite guard is fabricated.

The bite guard is worn at night to minimize forces that are harmful to the teeth.

Worn on a regular basis, it will reduce porcelain fracture of the new crowns.

Those we treat capable of fracturing their teeth, are referred to as high risk dental patients.

Allow patients undergoing dental rehabilitation to wear provisional crowns also known as temporary crowns to wear them approximately 90 days.

The 90 day period provides valuable information before the final restorations are cemented.

Patients should expect to wear the night guard as a protective device not only at night but during times of high stress.

You greatly reduce the risk of porcelain fracture wearing this device.

Indicators of damage to the teeth are wear facets greatly reducing the ability of a patient

to smile and crew effectively.

High risk dental patients can improve the function of their teeth with well planned restoration.

Finding a way to survive the times.

There are those who are good at findng your way in the worst of times.

Take note of these individuals and learn from them.

Look upon them as the opinion leaders of the day.

Opinion leaders can be called upon to show the way.

You will see no matter the niche we all have struggled along the way at

some point.

You arrive at work daily and place the largest dent possible in the workload of your day.

Take care not to stay in life’s ruts where the priorities of the day get shuffled to the bottom of  the to do list.

Handle the priorities of the day so that finding your away becomes a part of your daily routine.

Dentists find themselves in the business of contract procurement filling out lengthy applications to get in the graces of dental insurance carriers.

Employers shop for their employee benefits, changing dental carriers approximately every five years.

The dental industry stays in a state of flux because of this particular situation.

Keep in mind any business has fixed cost attached to the service that you deliver.

A profit is made somewhere between fixed cost and the flow of patients you are able to generate daily.

It is no easy job balancing what is loss and that which you gain to remain a solvent business concern.

In your own business out think the various ways you can have a continuous flow within your own operation.

Finding your way to survive the tough times will keep you digging for the gold that lies at your feet.

It remains only a thought and actionable step away.

The intentions that we pour our hearts and souls into eventually become the fruit of our labor.

Pick the lowest hanging fruit to start the flow but the sweetest berries glisten in the sun at the very top.

Greater rewards await those who understand the sales process and are willing to reap a bountiful harvest after

the crop is ready to be harvested.

Crops don’t wait on the harvester. They are best harvested when ripened in their own time.

Like the farmer that tills the soil and plants seed, we too pour ourselves into the work that we do daily.

Honest labor where seeds have been sown do yield productive crops.

Finding your way to survive is out thinking the variables that limit our ability to be successful.

Defining survival. Powerful statements

POWERFUL STATEMENTS DEFINING SURVIVAL Defining survival for your business in 2016 will require the greatest of focus on gathering resources.

A visit to an area gun range noted gun sales are at an all time high.

When the world economy crashes there will not be enough bullets or guns to fight your way out of the troubling times.

Existing times dictate we pay attention to the local and world economic climate.

No one has a crystal ball, but writing on the proverbial wall speaks to harsh times ahead.

Defining survival helps you plan for the present and near future.

Your ability to survive depends upon a high priority to discern what is necessary in obtaining the necessities of life.

You must reason with all your mental capacity to keep a positive position.

A book often recommended by financial executives is “The Richest Man In Babylon”.

The book was initially printed in the 1920s and remains relevant to this very day.

It teaches practical lessons in finance.

The man or woman expecting to move forward in difficult times must maintain the highest of wit.

In my arena you will find entrepreneurs who have left America starting to exchange dollars for other valuable currencies.

Many Americans expecting to escape the worst of times are abroad living in Europe.

All the great empires of earth at some point come to an end.

Take the time to research for yourself the following empires; Babylon, the Medes and Persians, the Greeks and Romans.

They all were at a point of splendor and grandeur during their zenith.

The final great empire of earth after the Romans is the current American empire.

What you would like to see for yourself make it so with a well thought out plan.

In my niche patients will still need the services of a certified dentist.

A bartering system will keep your doors open. Those who find a way to remain of value to their communities will survive.

The greatest among us that remain valuable to those we service plain and simple will survive.

Survivalist who meet in the woods are training how to return to yesteryear, living off the land.

They are educating themselves in the ways of growing crops from seeds and storing up provisions to survive the throes of winter.

Defining survival is not a game but a serious effort to win in the game of life.

America's aging infrastructure

America’s aging infrastructure places all citizens at risk who depend upon healthy water for drinking and bathing.

A story appeared in Sport’s Illustrated’s most recent issue.

“Troubled Water” by Michael Rosenberg is about the water problems in Flint, Michigan.

Flint, Michigan, before 2014 purchased a portion of its water from Detroit, Michigan.

In cost cutting measures Flint’s water supply started coming directly from their river.

All over America pipes to our homes and businesses are lined in lead.

The Detroit Free Press per the article says that it reported in October 2014 that General Motors pulled an engine plant off the river feed because the water was corroding its parts.

The city kept using it. The water was not good enough for a Cadillac, but it was fine for a child.

America’s aging infrastructure has many areas with lead lined pipes.

Lead causes brain and kidney damage, along with learning disabilities.

In Flint, Mchigan, water was drawn from the river without using corrosion control to prevent lead from seeping from ancient pipes carrying water into people’s homes.

Flint where the poverty rate is 41.5% and 56.6% of the population is African -Amercan, is where America hides from itself.

“The biggest challenge is changing mindsets”, says Hawkins.

Kids start to make what they see into their reality.

Healthcare providers must stand firm at the gate to know and deliver what is healthy for ther communities.

We do not want to look back and let them write the history of massive genocide due to our water supply.

Remember the words of your hippocratic oath to do no harm.

It is written you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

In your freedom take the time to be the difference in your household, community, state and country.

In each community of our country you can check with the environmental protection agency to verify the safety of your water supply.

What has happen in Flint is not an isolated incident in America.

This incident has the potential to raise its ugly head anywhere.

A dentist has a great platform from his/her dental office to educate the public regarding what can be done in order to remain safe.

Every household should have an emergency boil plan in place long before there is a problem evident with drinking water.

America’s aging infrastructure is a problem that must be addressed by all who are willing to make a difference.
