This evening an invitation was accepted to meet a salesman for dinner who discussed the proven systems of his 52 year old firm.

The firm helps dentists concentrate on what they do best, the delivery of dentistry.

Early on in my career a dentist could take his accounts receivables and sell them through a process called factoring.

Companies that participated in this way of doing business made money when the patient’s dental insurance carrier paid the patient’s claim.

If your business records noted the insurance carriers owed you $10,000.00, you could sell the receivables for $8,000.00.

All businesses will tell you they are almost always in need of investment capital.

Not everyone can go to their local bank and get a loan for improvements on their business.

Factoring  is a business term you won’t hear much about these days.

Travel forward in time 30 plus years and you find factoring with modern day systems has been placed on steroids.

Dentists go into their offices with solid management tools instead of attempts to figure it all out on their own.

These type management firms improve the productivity of the dental team by freeing them to concentrate on the human element of the dental practice.

The automated office is geared to free you from the mundane paperwork functions allowing you to produce at a high level.

Dentists graduate from dental school, trained in the science of their credentials, not the science and psychology of marketing.

At minimum you must understand marketing to hire those that will not only make your phone ring, but also place bodies in your shop that show up with checks in hand ready to receive dental care.

It is a beautiful thing to utilize the proven systems that bring success.

Become more productive and you increase the potential of your business.

Patients enjoy and appreciate the terms of Care Credit when their credit is above average.

There is still much work to be done for our patients with marginal credit.

Very few dental offices are willing to carry paper on loans for treatment because the cost of sending out a billing statement over time is not cost effective.
